Steve was born on March 13, 1961 in Pasadena, Texas. He moved to Pensacola in 1986 to help start up the Converting process with International Paper. He was a Rewinder Operator and later transferred to the Power House where he worked until his retirement.
Steve is preceded in death by his father, George Edward Keller.
Left to mourn his death are his mother, Wyona DeLette Davis (Ralph), his stepmother, Linda Keller, brother Mark Edward Keller (Susan), his son Steven Lance Keller (Nikki) and his daughter Lacey Elizabeth Elmore (Cody). His most prized possessions were his grandchildren: Daniel Eli Keller, Delaney Rayne Keller, Bailey Reid Keller and Landon Taylor Elmore.
Steve loved hunting, fishing, baseball and was very talented with woodworking. He was very involved in his kids' activities as he coached Lance's ball teams and travelled often with Lacey to gymnastics and cheerleading competitions. He had recently taken up gardening and loved growing his own vegetables.
Steve was a tender, compassionate person who will be missed by all who knew him.
The services will be held at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home, 1985 W. Nine Mile Road on Sunday, November 15 at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m.
