Mr. Brown was born in Elizabethton, Tennessee on January 30, 1931. He grew up in the Baptist faith, attended and graduated with the EHS class 1948, enlisted in the U.S. Airforce in 1951 and served four years during the Korean War. After discharge, he returned home, attended East Tennessee State College and was employed at NARC until moving his family to Pensacola in 1958 where he was with American Cyanamid for 33 years and retired in 1991 as a supervisor in the Technical Department.
He was preceded in death by his wonderful son, friend and advisor, Sean Allan Brown, his beloved wife Barbara Dial Brown, parents Allen and Mona Mae Fox Brown, big brother Roy O. Brown, big sister Nita Jones, and little sister Sue Geisler.
Survivors include his beloved granddaughters Katie and Emily, great-grandson John Thomas, and great-granddaughters Juliette and JohnieRae, all of Pensacola.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 06, 2022 with services to begin at 11:00 a.m. at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel.
