Bill served in the U. S. Navy for 22 years retiring as a Senior Chief in 1980. After retirement, Bill and family relocated to New Iberia, Louisiana, where Bill worked for Telco as an Aviation Structural Mechanic, spending 10 years in the oilfields. In 1989 he and his family relocated to Pensacola where they were member of St. Paul Catholic Church. Bill was a hero to us. Dedicated to his country and family, he loved his sports, boating and gardening with a miraculous green thumb. A man of many talents, he lived a full life accomplishing all of his dreams.
Bill was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Rowell Bullington and his father, William Forrest Bullington, Sr.
Bill is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Cynthia Viator Bullington; daughter, Katherine B. Pennington (David); sons, William Forrest Bullington III and Craig Matthew Bullington; sisters, Brenda McRae (Randy) and Anne Loper (Henry); grandchildren, William, Chelsea, Drew, Trevor, Ethan, Stefanie and four great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m., Saturday, April 01, 2023 at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel with services beginning at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow with military honors at Bayview Memorial Park.
