William G. Hodgins Jr. died at the age of 72 at his Pensacola home on Monday, May 11, 2015. He is survived by two sons, Mark and Chuck Hodgins, both of Montgomery, Alabama, and two step-children, Amy Wessling Jones of Douglasville Georgia, and Jeff Wessling of Foley Al.
William spent much of his time in his earlier years volunteering with youth sports organizations where his nickname “Coach Bill” was started. Later in life, he became a Freemason and then ultimately a Shriner.
Bill Hodgins will be honored by his family and friends when he is laid to rest on Monday May 18, 2015 at Bayview Memorial Park at 10:00am.
