

HINES – Patrick Bernard passed away with his daughter Eleanore by his side on November 18th, 2004 at the age of 93 years. Predeceased by his loving wife Anne on November 5th, 1991. Survived by his loving children; Marion (Doug) Rosseau of Aldergrove, BC, Eleanore (Hugh) Oakes of Penticton, BC, two grandchildren; Tara Murphy of Abbotsford, BC, Pat (Lori) Rosseau of Mission, BC, two step grandchildren; Tanya (Randy) of Abbotsford, BC, Nicole of New Westminster, BC, one great granddaughter, three step great grandchildren. Pat was born on Christmas Day 1910, on a farm in Southern Alberta. Moved to Penticton in 1947 and built the 4th Auto Court. In 1967 he was a part of the opening of the Okanagan Game Farm. Three years later at 60, he decided to open a new Game Farm in Aldergrove. When he turned 73 after 8 years of retirement, he decided to buy the total Okanagan Game Farm, so he and his wife could go back to work. Dad loved life – was adventurous, toured the world and loved going to the Casino in his later years. For those who wish to pay their respects, a public visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 23rd, 2004 at 7:30 p.m. at Parkview Funeral Home 1258 Main Street, Penticton, BC. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, November 24th, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Ann’s Catholic Church 1296 Main Street, Penticton, BC with Father Pat Monette Celebrant.
