He was born Aug. 27, 1963 in Kewanee to George and Clara (Barlow) Tiemann. He married Lesia Kirk Oct. 15, 1985 in Kimball, NE. She survives along with Tony’s father and step-mother, George (Helen L.) Tiemann of Wyoming, five siblings: Amber (Joe) Morris of Cuba, MO, Regina (Carl) Craig of Rock Falls, Ann (Chris) Ford of Prophetstown, Adam (Pamela) Tiemann of Erie, Ashley (Isabel) Tiemann of St. Joseph, MI, fourteen nieces and nephews, nine great-nieces and great-nephews, and two sisters-in-law: Darlene (Phil) Eckland of Morrison, and Kathy (Keven) Walker of Dix, NE.
He was preceded in death by his mother, his mother-in-law, Margaret Walgren, one nephew, and one great-niece.
Tony has been employed at Komatsu in Peoria since 1985.He was currently a Senior Design Engineer.
Funeral services will be Monday Feb. 17, 2014 at 10 a.m. at Davison-Fulton Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home in Peoria. Visitation will be Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Prophetstown Monday at 1 p.m.
