Arthur Hanerhoff, Jr., 73, of Peoria, IL (and recently Houston, TX), passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2022 in Houston, Texas. He was born on August 9, 1948 in Peoria, son of Arthur August and Cecelia Margaret (Lemanski) Hanerhoff.
Arthur is survived by his daughter, Margo of Houston, Texas and son-in-law Crocket, his son Vance, his sister Cindy, and several nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Sharon, and brother Robert “Bob.”
He graduated from Woodruff High School and shortly after served his country in the United States Air Force Reserve. He worked and retired from Caterpillar.
Arthur was an avid admirer of corvettes and spent much of his free time going to car shows with his friends.
Arthur's funeral service will be at 1:00 pm Friday, July 29, 2022 at the Davison-Fulton-Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home in Peoria. His visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Thursday, July 28, 2022 also at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
