Barbara Angles

Barbara was born February 26, 1942 in Du Quoin, IL the daughter of Marion and Edith Coates Clark. She married James Angles on June 27, 1964 in Centralia, IL.

She is survived by her husband of fifty years; one son, Michael Angles ; one daughter, Jenny Doerr; one granddaughter, Joanna Doerr all of Peoria; one sister, Nancy (James) Hoerman of Champaign; her mother-in-law, Blanche Angles; one brother and sister-in-law, Robert Lee (Valarie) Angles all of Centralia, IL; and many cherished nephews and nieces.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents.

She was a member of First Christian Church in Peoria, where she sang in the choir. Barbara was a school teacher, last working at Kinder Care before her retirement in 2004. She loved sewing and quilting in her spare time.

Cremation rites will be accorded.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, June 6, 2015 at First Christian Church in Peoria, IL. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Rev. Karen Merrick will officiate.

Burial of ashes will be in Mount Catherine Cemetery in Woodlawn, IL at a later date.
