Barbara Joan (Hill) Shiverdecker

She was born on July 11, 1945, in Philadelphia, PA, to Mary (Donohue) and Frank D. Hill, Sr. She married Bruce Edward Shiverdecker on November 18, 1967, in Philadelphia. He preceded her in death on August 11, 2014.

In addition to her parents, and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Patricia Russell, and Anna Louise Hill.

She is survived by her son, Eric (Sandi) Shiverdecker; granddaughter, Kinsey Shiverdecker; sisters, Margaret (Peggy) West, Kathleen (Arthur) Czajkowski, Mart T. Hill, Rosemarie (Steve) Inglese; brothers, Frank (Karla) D. Hill, Jr. and Robert (Becky) Hill; and several nieces and nephews.

Barbara was an active volunteer donating her time to Project Linus as coordinator for the Peoria, Tazewell, and Woodford counties chapter; and OSF Ladies Auxiliary, working in the gift shop. She was employed as an Usher at the Peoria Civic Center; Payroll Specialist for Foster and Gallagher; Bank One; and Peoria Park District. She was a member of the Caterpillar Square Dance Club.
