Bill was born March 29, 1935 in Lake City, AR to William and Mary (McCloud) Dorris. He married Mary Ann Coon in Peoria, Illinois on April 25, 1964.
He is survived by three sons, Dan (Angela) of Hamilton, Illinois, Phillip Wolf of Bloomington, and Donovan (Poppy) of Peoria. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, son (Charles “Rick” Gibbar), and sisters (Myrtle and Patsy).
Bill was a Master Mason of Grand View Lodge No. 1112 for over 50 years. He retired from Caterpillar and was a member of Congregation Agudas Achim.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 10, 2025 at Peoria Hebrew Cemetery in West Peoria, Illinois, with Rabbi Michael Arsers officiating. Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Grand View Lodge No. 1112, Agudas Achim, or Peoria Hebrew Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund.
