She was born on July 30, 1961 in Peoria, IL to Gerald and Linda (Bennette) Bass. She married Matthew Dettore on January 16, 1998. He survives.
Also surviving are her children, Lester Colvin (fiancée Kelsey Samons), Misty Bass, Stephene Swartz and Taylor Dettore; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Nick Bass; and sister, Elaine Smith.
Bonnie was a lunch mom for Lincoln Grade School in Washington.
