Carol J. Fischer

She was born on September 19, 1943, in Peoria to the late Carl U. and Georgia B. (Carlton) DeBolt. She married Laurance M. Fischer on September 3, 1993 and he preceded her in death on March 7, 2023.

Carol is survived by a daughter; grandson, Joey; sisters, Nancy Schmitt and Beth (Fred) Ball; niece, Jennifer (Eddie) Bogert of New Jersey; and many close cousins.

Carol was a devoted Christian who loved God deeply and lived her faith every day. Carol had a special gift for music and was a talented pianist. She especially loved teaching piano in her youth and found great joy helping others learn and grow. Southern Gospel music held a special place in her heart and was often the soundtrack of her days.

Per her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. Private graveside services will be held at a later date.

Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
