Catherine Elizabeth Snider

She was born Oct. 16, 1921 in Peoria to Robert and Marinda (Ryan) Harris. She married Chester Snider Jan. 27, 1940 in Burlington, Iowa. He passed away Feb. 20, 1983 in Peoria. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two grandchildren, and one sister, Dorothy Stumpf.

Survivors include three sons: Robert (Cheryl) Snider of Chillicothe, David (Theresa) Snider of Havana, Gary (Sheri) Snider of Peoria, eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, and one sister, Anna Jean Toler of Bayview Gardens.

Catherine worked in the Cafeteria at Woodruff High School for 20 years retiring in 1992. She was a member of the Northside Church of the Nazarene in Peoria. She loved being outdoors with her family and friends, camping, fishing, and doing her yard work.

Funeral services will be Friday Nov. 6, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Rev. John Spohn will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services.

Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery in Peoria.
