Charles Aaron Olsen, 63, of Creve Coeur, Illinois passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at OSF St. Francis Hospital in Peoria. He was born on April 15, 1952 in San Diego, California to Charles Edward and Minnie Marie (Ewert) Olsen. He married Georgann Donath. Surviving are four children, Cobie Huffman and Troy Olsen both of Peoria, Jeffrey Olsen of Pekin and Jordan Stratus of Creve Coeur; eleven grandchildren and 1 great grandchild survive. He has one sister, Candace Crupi of Staten Island, N.Y., four brothers, Todd Syrdale of Port Monmouth, N.J, Scott Syrdale of Toms River, N.J. , Cary Syrdale of DesMoines, Iowa, Lynn Syrdale Jr. of Peoria. He is also survived by his step father, Lynn Syrdale Sr. of Peoria, Illinois. Charles was a Viet Nam Army Veteran. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 29, 2016 at the Davison Fulton Woodland Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to services on Tuesday. Burial will be in the Parkview Cemetery.
