Cheryl Rae Doran

She was born on January 14, 1945 in Peoria to John and Evelyn (Perrill) Vohland.

Cheryl married Dennis “Denny” J. Doran on October 3, 1961 in Newport, RI. He preceded her in death on March 7, 2016 in Peoria. She was also preceded in death by her parents; brother and sister in law, Jerry and Mary Vohland; brother in law and sister in law, Bob and Ann Doran; and sister in law and brother in law, Maryann and Don Burkey.

Cheryl is survived by her two daughters, Angela Young of Peoria and Kimberly Doran of Peoria; four grandchildren, Danielle (Nick) Oberlander, Markus Young, Brandon (Tatiana) Young, and Kaitlyn Doran; great grandchildren, Briella Oberlander, Cole Oberlander, Oaklyn Young, Isabella Young, Colson Young, Rylyn Young and Isaiah Young; brother in law and sister in law, Jerry and Marilyn Doran; and several nieces and nephews.

Cheryl worked for over 30 years for Zeller Mental Health Center. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. Her life revolved around her family, she was everything to everyone. She loved to clean and take care of her family. She will be greatly missed.

Per her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. Private family services will be held at a later date.
