He was born August 3, 1949 in Clinton, IL to Robert and June Conard. He married the love of his life Colette Forquer on January 21, 1978 in Peoria. She survives along with one brother, Terry (Marcia) Conard of Colorado. He is also survived by 17 nieces and nephews and since Cloyd and Colette could not have children, he loved and treated them like they were his children.
He was preceded in death by a beloved uncle and aunt, Cloyd and Helen Conard, his parents, one sister, Cheri Hilgeman, and one nephew.
Cloyd was a United States Navy veteran serving in the Vietnam War. He served on the USS Kitty Hawk and received three Bronze Stars.
Following his time in the Military, he was in sales and was a sales manager, last working for Drumheller Bag Corporation.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at 2 p.m. at the Davison-Fulton Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home in Peoria. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services.
Burial with Military Honors will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
