He was born June 25, 1958 in Quincy, IL to Maynard and Betty (McDivitt) Branch. He married Lydia Booher on March 17, 1984 in Peoria, IL. She survives.
Also surviving are two children, Angela (Bowe) Vanderbloom of Milliken, CO and Ryan Branch of Peoria; four siblings, Stanley (Peggy) Branch of Normal, Eric (Janice) Branch of Peoria, Kirby Branch of Indianapolis, IN, and Craig (Rowena) Branch of Haslet, TX; a brother-in-law, Rick Drew of Girard, IL; two grandchildren, Blake and Alana Vanderbloom; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Melody Drew.
Curtis worked as a Business Analyst for Dun & Bradstreet for many years before retiring. He then worked in the transportation Department for Peoria Public School District 150. Curtis loved to play golf and was a flight simulator enthusiast.
A funeral service will be at 4:00 pm on Saturday, April 17, 2021 with visitation one hour prior to the service at Davison-Fulton Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home in Peoria. Entombment will be at American Mausoleum at a later date.
