Cousin Curtis had Christ's heart of kindness and a smile for everyone. I cherish our childhood times together and more recent times when we reconnected. Lydia, you and Curtis showed the beauty of a life shared together. Dan and my prayers are with all family and friends as we celebrate his arrival in heaven.

To this day, the memory of meeting Curtis, with his brother, Eric, is imprinted in my mind. They eagerly introduced themselves to me at the Branch Family Reunion at Vermont Street Church in Quincy, Illinois in the 1980's. They were adorable like the Osmond brothers, smiling ear to ear, and so genuine. When I have seen them together with Mark (my husband) over the years, I always remember their original introduction to me in the basement meeting hall at Vermont Street Church, and I thank God for that memory and for their friendship as cousins. More recently, I met with Curtis when Aunt Opal turned 100. He was still as sweet as he was back in the 1980's.

I wanted to say that I remember Curtis as a man who loved the Lord and he displayed such sweetness. He was very kind, and I can never remember a time when he complained. I praise the Lord that he is rejoicing with Jesus at coming home to Heaven!

I worked with Curt years ago at Dun & Bradstreet and would see him once in a while after that...he always had time to chat about "the good old days"
To his wife, children, grand-children and siblings, I'm sorry for your loss and will be keeping all of you in my prayers in the days ahead

We were so saddened to learn of Curt’s passing. Curt and Lydia lived next door to us for 26 years and were great neighbors and were always there for us. His passing is a huge loss. Thoughts and prayers are with Lydia, Angela, Ryan and the rest of Curt’s family at this sad time. A life well lived taken way too soon.

So very sorry for your loss. Curtis and I went through Jr and Sr high band together as 1st and 2nd chair saxophones, and enjoyed many good times with all of his family. Many, many good thoughts of our time together. Again our condolences.
