

Daniel L. Dunlap, 46, of Peoria passed away at 7:58 a.m. on Thursday, February 12, 2015, at his residence in Peoria, with his loving family by his side after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on June 7, 1968 in Peoria, IL, to Spencer and Harriett Dunlap. He married Felma Agraviador on Dec. 24, 2001. Surviving are his loving wife, Felma of Peoria; mother, Harriett Dunlap of Peoria; one sister, Debbie (Len) Lovel of Tulsa, Okla.; and his beloved Labrador, Jake. He is also survived by two nephews, Benjamin and Christopher and one niece, Elizabeth. He was preceded in death by his father, brother, and grandparents. Daniel graduated from Illinois State University with an MBA. Daniel was most recently a Territory Manager in central Illinois for Royal Cup Coffee out of Birmingham, AL. He was also a fourth generation home builder and spent over 20 years in the home building industry having been involved in the construction of over 100 homes in Peoria and surrounding areas. Daniel was also co-owner of Stone Harbor Homes. In his free time, Daniel enjoyed spending time with family, reading, oil painting, and woodworking. A service will be held on Monday, February 16, 2015, at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior to the service at First English Lutheran Church in Peoria. The Rev. Dr. James Lillie will officiate. A private burial will follow the service at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Illinois CancerCare or First English Lutheran Church.
