He was born June 18, 1963 in Peoria to Joseph and Mary (Tyrell) Green. He married Sherry Maness on Sep. 1, 1994 in Peoria. She survives along with his father and step-mother, Joseph (Joann) Green of Hopedale, one daughter, Celeste (Kendrick) Wong of Peoria Heights, one son, Jade (Falon) Doubet of Washington, and five grandchildren: Boston, Corbin, Malaya, Penelope, and Hazel. He is also survived by eight brothers and sisters: Steve (Jessica) Green, Connie Inselmann, Erica Love, Donnie (Julie) Neckel, Tina Neckel, Keith Neckel, Michael Neckel, and Lynette Fox.
He was preceded in death by his mother, and one brother-in-law, Glen Fox.
David was a United States Army Veteran. He was currently working as an IT Manager at OSF St Francis Medical Center in Peoria. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, hunting, fishing with his father, camping and working on his ’76 Chevy Nova muscle car.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2022 at 6 p.m. at the Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Visitation will be two hours prior to the services at the funeral home. Cremation rites will be accorded following the services.
