He was born Sep. 2, 1937 in Peoria to Charles and Elizabeth (Archdale) McDuff. He married Wanda Brown on March 5, 1961 in Fort Riley, KS. She survives in Peoria along with three children: Brenda (Dave) McMillan of Virginia, IL, Tammy McDuff of San Antonio, TX, David McDuff, Jr of Peoria, and two grandchildren: Michael McMillan of Virginia, IL, and Kelly McMillan of Quincy, Il.
David was a United States Army veteran serving from 1960 through 1962. Following his time in the military he worked at Caterpillar Inc. for 43 years retiring in 1998. Upon his retirement he was a courtesy driver of Ray Dennison Chevrolet.
He was a faithful family man and enjoyed spending time with his kids and grandchildren. He enjoyed spending time outside, especially gardening, and was an avid NASCAR fan.
Funeral services will be Friday, Jan. 4, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at the Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services on Friday.
Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery with Military Honors.
