Donald Wayne Schneider

He was born August 11, 1937 in Peoria the son of William and Julia Hagan Schneider. He married Norma Williams in Monmouth on September 21, 1957. She preceded him in death on October 31, 2002 in Peoria.

Don is survived by one son, Doug (Debbie) of Farmington; one daughter, Julie (Chuck) Vermillion of Peoria; three grandchildren, Megan Schneider, Sara (Matt) Briggs,Taylor (Summer Tortat) Vermillion; five great-grandchildren, Maci, Tyson, Ava, Alexis, and Little KK; one brother, William (Ginny) Schneider of Bartonville; and one sister, Andrea Schneider of Peoria.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Wilma Gibson.

Don worked at Pabst for twelve years. He later worked for Foster’s Concrete until his retirement. He was also in the Men’s Dart League for many years.

Don was a member of South Side Mission Church.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Friday, July 1, 2016 at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to services.

Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to Neighborhood House, Meals on Wheels, or Unity Point Methodist Hospice.
