Donelly Morgan

Donelly Morgan, 87, of Peoria, passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at his home, surrounded by loving family. Born in Peoria, on August 11, 1938, he was the son of the late Andrew and Ella Marie (Graham) Morgan. On December 20, 1964, he married Mary Louise Boddie. She preceded him in death on March 4, 2019.

Surviving is a son, Derrick (Regina) Morgan; four grandchildren, Deniesha Morgan, Krystopher (Aisha Dudley) Brown, Jonathan Morgan, and Kandice Brown; two great grandchildren, O’Brian and Khristian Jackson; and a sister, Roberta Morgan. Aside from his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a son, David Morgan; six brothers, Andrew Morgan Jr., John Graham, Jesse Morgan, Clifford Morgan Sr., Grant Morgan, and Garland "Cecil" Morgan; and three sisters, Flora Mae (Graham) Jackson, Fannie (Morgan) Crawford, and Josephine (Morgan) Smith.

Donelly worked as an order filler for Caterpillar for 35 years. He was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church and enjoyed spending time with his family, a good homecooked meal, and making people laugh. He was an avid Lakers fan.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Parkview Cemetery. Condolences and memories may be shared through Davison-Fulton.com
