Peoria, IL– Donna R. Nicholas, 51, of Peoria, passed away at 4:22 a.m. Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria. She was born July 31, 1961 in Peoria, IL to Donald and Irene (Ellsworth) Nicholas. Surviving are her father, Donald of Peoria; brother, Mark (Kathy) Nicholas of McLean, IL; and 4 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Irene; and infant nephew. Donna worked at Caterpillar Inc. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and Optimist Club. She was also a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Cathedral in Peoria where visitation will be from 8 to 10 a.m. on Friday, June 14, 2013. Funeral Services will follow at 10 a.m. Friday at the Cathedral with The Very Reverend Robert Dedmon and Reverend Canon Ralph J. Stanwise officiating. Burial will be at Parkview Cemetery in Peoria.
