

Edmond Basile, Jr., 46, of Peoria, IL passed away Thursday April 28, 2011 at O.S.F. St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. He was born June 9, 1964 in Peoria to Edmond Sr. and Ginger Basile. Ed first married Robyn Bower July 11, 1984 and later married Diane Andrus April 7, 2009.
Surviving are: his wife Diane of Peoria, daughter Amber Maple of N. Pekin, son Edmond Basile III of Peoria, three step children; Tracie Coulter, Angel Andrus, and Julian Andrus all of Peoria, one sister Becky (Clark) Boles of Peoria, three grandchildren; Blake Maple, Kyle Basile, and Aubri Maple, two step grandchildren; Ellie Crow and Layana Harris, two nephews; Ben and Josh Peeler of Peoria, and one great niece Isabella Peeler. Ed was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
Ed worked for Jim Hawk truck and trailers in East Peoria for the past five years as a mechanic. He had also worked for Air Land, G & D trucking, Curry Ice and Coal companies throughout his career. Ed was a loving and devoted father, husband, and brother who loved to spend his spare time riding his motorcycle or spending time with family and friends. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Services will be held at 10 am Monday May 2, 2011 at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Visitation will be held from 4 – 7 pm Sunday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family. View Edmond’s life story at www.Davison-Fulton.com
