She was born May 18, 1944 in Peoria the daughter of Noel Gail and Evelyn Louise Stanhope Griffith. She married Frederick Seling on September 8, 1962.
Ellen is survived by her husband of 54 years; two daughters, Christina (Vic) Swenson of Canton, and Jenny (Patrick) Swartz of Bartonville; two sons, Eric (Tracy) Seling of Peoria, and Tsirch (Julie) Seling of Tremont; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Kenneth (Jan) Griffith of Eureka, and David (Chris) Griffith of Troy, Ohio.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Ellen loved animals, and worked with her husband, at Seling’s Pet Grooming as an assistant dog groomer.
She loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 10:00 am Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at Springdale Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7:00 pm Monday November 14, 2016 at Davison Fulton Woodland Chapel. .
