Florence "Flo" Mary Douglas

She was born Feb. 18, 1916 in Ripley, TN to Levi and Mary (Cook) Coleman. She married John H. Douglas Sept. 8, 1934 in Ripley, TN. He passed away in 1969. She was also preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Lisa Hoskins.

Survivors include one son, James Collins of Peoria; four grandchildren, Marvin King, Britney Jordan, Ciara Simmons, and Alesia Hoskins, and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Flo was an active member of Galilee Missionary Baptist Church in Peoria, where she served on the Mother Board and in the Mission Department.

A funeral service will be Saturday, Oct. 20, 2018 at 10:30 am at the Sovereign Grace Missionary Church, with visitation staring at 9 am until the start of the service at the church. Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Burial will follow the service at Parkview Cemetery in Peoria.
