Harriet A. Mallow

She was born November 12, 1932 in Peoria, a daughter of Harry and Adla Kharillah Alwan, she married Edmund J. Mallow on November 17, 1951 in Peoria. He survives.

Also surviving are seven children, Mrs. Barbara (John) Woerly of Carmel, IN, Mr. Edmund Jr. (Cathy) Mallow of East Peoria, Mrs. Carolyn (Richard) Kauffman of Lebanon, OH, Mrs. Sharon (James) Karosky of Peoria, Mrs. Elaine (David) Owen of Roscoe, Mrs. Dianna (Chris) Russick of Peoria, Mr. Rick (Deanna) Mallow of Robins, IA; 13 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; two sisters, Shirley Noe of Washington, Dianna Joseph of Peoria; and one brother, Harold Alwan MIA.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

She was a homemaker.

She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Peoria and the Itoo Society in Peoria.

A funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Peoria. Fr. John P. Grigus, OFM Conv. will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home in Peoria with a rosary at 7 p.m. and one hour prior to the service at church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in West Peoria.
