He was born on April 6, 1942 in Greenville, MS to Abraham and Maggie (Jackson) Washington.
Herbert is survived by his sister Ernestine Davis and many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Lillian Beison, and one brother, Lawrence Washington.
Herbert worked for Bartonville Rope Company, Wabco. In his free time, he loved to watch baseball, basketball, and football, and also enjoyed playing Spades.
Cremation rites have been accorded and a memorial service will be held at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 5, 2022.
