Ira Vance

He was born June 4, 1951 in Peoria to Clarence and Lucille (Lamon) Vance. He was preceded in death by his parents, step-mother, Joan Vance; six siblings, Charlene Moore, James Vance, Clarence Vance Jr., Norma Welch, Carol Fleming and Phillip Vance; and nephew, John Stein.

Surviving are four sisters, Helen Choate, Bonny (Thomas) Parrott, Margaret (Doug) Marsh and Jill Allen, and many nieces and nephews.

Ira loved music, dancing, watching cartoons like Scooby-Doo and Batman, and baseball.

A funeral service will be Thursday, December 20, 2018 at 11:00 am with visitation one hour prior to the service at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in East Peoria. Pastor Kurt Mews will officiate. Burial will follow the service at Parkview Cemetery in Peoria.
