Jearld Dean Barnett

Peoria – Jearld D. Barnett, age 77, of West Peoria, Illinois passed away at her home on March 17, 2018 with her family at her side. She was born in Pomona TN., on August 27, 1940 to Benjamin and Grace Barnwell. She married Robert Barnett Sr. on Nov. 20, 1959 in Peoria. He passed away February 16, 2015. She was also preceded in death by one sister, two brothers, and two grandchildren.

Survivors include her children; Mark Barnwell of IA., Bonnie (Mike) Fuller of Peoria, Robert (Melody) Barnett Jr. of Peoria, Loran Barnett of CA., Wanda (Paul) Parris of Avon and Carl (Dawn) Barnett of East Peoria. 25 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren, 5 sisters and 3 brothers.

She was a proud foster parent for many years while working at District 150.

Visitation will be at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel on Thursday, March 22, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be Friday, March 23, 2018 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery in Peoria. Memorials may be made to American Heart Association.
