He was born May 12, 1953 in Peoria, IL to Wallace and Anna Mae (Lockhart) Jordan. They preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death were three brothers, Mark, Danny, and Michael Scott Jordan, brother-in-law, Vince Sharp, sister-in-law, Beverly Jordan and Marian Jordan Wintjen.
Jimmy is survived by his four siblings, Wallace (Deborah) Jordan Jr of Peoria, Deanna (Gary) Thompson of Peoria Heights, Dennis (Norma) Jordan Sr. of Washington, and Missy Sharp of Peoria Heights; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Jimmy worked as driver for Rail Safe Systems retiring in 2015 and did volunteer work with the Special Olympics for several years. He loved to watch stock car races, bowling, talking and visiting with family and friends and goulash. He will be remembered as a man with a heart of gold, who never met a stranger.
Cremation will be accorded and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
