Joseph Joe S. Cutt

He was born on February 16, 1943 in Peoria to Edwin and Anna (Brusich) Cutt. He married Kathleen "Kathy" A. Reber on July 31, 1965 in Peoria. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Eugene Cutt, two nieces and three nephews.

Surviving are his wife, Kathy of East Peoria, two children, Kenneth E. (Stephanie) Cutt of Jupiter, FL and Kristine A. (Bill) Wall of Bloomington, IL. Also surviving are one brother, Edwin (Terry) Cutt Jr of Carmen, IL, two sisters Betty Moore of East Peoria and Cheryl Rowley of Phoenix, AZ and many nieces and nephews.

Joe graduated from East Peoria High School and attended Bradley University. He worked at Caterpillar, Inc for 38 years, retiring from the Global Mining Division in 2002. He was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Peoria and will be remembered for his faith in God, love for his family and friends and his enjoyment of golf, travel, fishing and service to others.

A visitation will be Sunday, August 12, 2012 from 4 to 7 pm at Davison-Fulton Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home in Peoria. A funeral service will be on Monday, August 13, 2012 at 10:30 am at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Peoria with visitation half an hour prior to the service at the church. The Revs. Joe Meyer and Ted Benson will officiate. Burial will follow the service at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
