Juanita Willis

She was born in Peoria IL on June 12, 1945 to Shadrich and Dora (Walker) Brown.

Surviving are her four sons, Rodger (Crystal) Willis Jr. of Bolingbrook IL, Keith A. Willis of Elgin IL, Steven E. Willis of Peoria, and Michael T. Willis both of Peoria; lifelong dear and best friends Heddy Willis, Shirley Jenkins, and Barbara Anderson. She also leaves to cherish her 12 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and close friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and four brothers.

Juanita retired from Fleming-Potter in 2004 after 34 years of service. She was a family person who enjoyed Sunday dinners, family reunions, family vacations, and cruises. She also loved helping others by serving on the hospitality team at church and volunteering with after school kids programs.

A public visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Due to COVID, the family will observe social distancing requirements. Entombment will be in Springdale Mausoleum in Peoria.
