Judy Kay Reeise, 73, of Hanna City, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2025 at her home. She was born on April 16, 1951 in Peoria, a daughter of Frederick A. and Jenny M. (Cheynowa) Cassidy. Judy married Richard Reeise on January 11, 2007 in Peoria. He survives.
She is also survived by her three children, Rebecca Lyons of Germantown Hills, Jeffery (Angie) Lyons of North Pekin, and Cory (Jade) Lyons of Bartonville; eight grandchildren, Jordan, Brandt, Angel, Alexis, Mercedes, Tyler, Carley, and Avery; six great-grandchildren, Aurora, Gwen, Lucas, Will, Nora, and Cayden; one sister, Diane Troxell of Naples, Florida; two brothers, Kenny (Charlene) Cassidy of Mackinaw and Rick (JoAn) Cassidy of Mackinaw; one sister-in-law, Linda (John) Lovell of Peoria; one brother-in-law, Tommy Reeise of Pekin; several nieces and nephews; and her two cats, Rudy and Zoey.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents; one infant sister, Anne Cassidy; one brother-in-law, Chuck Reeise; and one sister-in-law, Cindy Morgan.
Judy loved gardening, sewing, baking, cooking, and taking care of her goats, chickens, and pets. She especially loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Judy was caring and compassionate with a strong love for life.
Judy's funeral service will be at 12:00 pm on Thursday, February 20, 2025 at the Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Pastor Mike Lyons will officiate. Her visitation will be from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm also on Thursday at the funeral chapel. Burial will take place in Lutheran Cemetery in Peoria.
