

He was born November 15, 1943 in Evanston, Illinois, a son of Peter and Ruth Still Blum. He married Mary Ann Coulter in 1966, they later divorced.
Surviving are one son, Kenny (Shauna) Blum II of Elmwood; two grandsons, Tucker and Tanner Blum of Elmwood; one sister, Deloris Harris; and one brother, Peter Blum.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Ken owned and operated Blum Furniture Store in Peoria with his father for several years. After the store closed he worked at H & H Industries in Elmwood as a Commercial Lighting Sales Representative, retiring in 2007.
He was a member of the Suburban Kiwanis Club in Peoria and South-West Kiwanis Club in Peoria.
He was an avid boater on the Illinois River; he enjoyed traveling to the Caribbean, jewelry and cars.
He was of Catholic faith.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, February 4, 2011 at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m.
Memorials may be made to the Suburban Kiwanis Club in Peoria.
