She was born Sep. 17, 1922 in Peoria to Ora and Phyllis (Gillahan) Kelly. She married William Cusson on April 25, 1944 in Peoria. He passed away Oct. 29, 2014 in Peoria. She was also preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters: Mary Jane Jones and Betty Hanoeur.
Survivors include three daughters: Joyce (Glen) Hein of Tolland, CT, Carol Stout of Pekin, Constance McAvoy of Peoria, ten grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
Leota was a member of St Vincent De Paul Catholic Church in Peoria.
Funeral services will be Saturday, May 28, 2022 at 11:30 a.m. at the Resurrection Mausoleum in Peoria. Visitation will be ½ hour prior to the services. Davison-Fulton Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Entombment will be in Resurrection Mausoleum.
