Lloyd William "Bill" Grady, Jr., 80, of Peoria, passed away on Friday, December 31, 2021 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. He was born on April 15, 1941, a son of Lloyd William Grady, Sr. and Zelma Elizabeth (Shaw) Grady. Lloyd married Debra J. Tiller on June 10, 1998 in Lake Tahoe, CA. She survives.
He is also survived by his two children, Kelly (Doug) Reardon of Peoria and David Grady of Littleton, CO; children of Barbara A. (Bohlander) Broughton and his three grandchildren, Davin Reardon, Kailly Reardon, and Isabella Grady.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, also his brother Robert E. Grady and sister Mary E. (Grady) Salvetti.
He was a graduate of Bradley University, receiving his bachelor's degree in Business Administration.
Bill worked as an account coordinator for Caterpillar, Inc. in Mossville for 32 years, retiring in 1998.
He was a member of Elks Lodge #20 in Peoria, Alpha Kappa Psi fraternity and the Musician's Local #301. He attended Northwoods Community Church in Peoria.
Bill's funeral service will be at 11:00 am Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Davison-Fulton-Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home in Peoria. Pastor Josh Kiefer will officiate. His visitation will be from 9:00 am to 11:00 am also on Saturday at the funeral home. There will also be a celebration of life service at 2:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Swan Lake Cemetery in Peoria.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Salvation Army or USO or Northwoods Community Church.
