Lynn Ann Mack

Lynn Ann Mack, 62, of West Peoria, passed away and was called home at 12: 49 a.m. on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at her home. She was born on August 11, 1960, in Peoria to Lendsy and Ada "Ree'' Marie (Brown) Gaiter. Lynn married Harvie "Tony" Mack Jr., who preceded her in death on October 19, 1992 in Peoria.

Her husband, parents, and one sister preceded her in death.

Surviving is her brother, Lendsy Gaiter, Jr.; her children, Latisha (Kelly) Baskin of Yorkville, Lashon Mack of Peoria, Brandon (Mycole) Mack of West Peoria, N'Keyah Taylor of Peoria, and TaNaya Mack of Peoria. Also surviving are nine grandchildren,Takira, C’Erra, Toneisha, Jerald, Jaylen, Bryson, Micah, Jacob and Amir "Poopey"; one great-grandson, Anthony Crudup III "ACE"; and host of relatives, friends, and a special cousin, Valerie.

Lynn was a graduate of Richwoods High School in Peoria, class of 1978. She continued her education at Midstate College and graduated in 2001.

Lynn spent 17 years as a school bus driver, most recently with East Peoria District 86, which she was most proud of. The kids on her route loved her and she loved them.

Lynn was happiest when she was traveling with her children and grandchildren, cooking, being around family, spending time laughing with her grandson and great-grandson, joining line dancing groups through the church and community, and attending Manual Rams sporting events, though she graduated as a Knight, she will always be a Ram at heart.

She was also a member of St. Paul Baptist Church in Peoria.

Visitation will be from 10:00am to 11:00am with services afterwards on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at St. Paul Baptist Church. Pastor Deveraux Hubbard will officiate. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery in Peoria.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
