Born May 5, 1918 in Monmouth, IL to Warren and Mary S. (Stevenson) Ryner; she married Albert A. Berry on October 26, 1946 in Peoria and he preceded her in death on December 11, 2007.
Also preceding in death were two brothers and four sisters.
Surviving are her son, John A. Berry of Peoria; her daughter-in-law, Peggy Berry; three grandchildren, Tracey (Tim) Jones of Peoria, Lisa (Brad) Baker of Springfield, IL and Joseph Berry of Peoria; eight great grandchildren; four great great-grandchildren; and her brother Robert (Joan) Ryner of Monmouth.
She was a member of the Peoria Heights Congregational Church and was a member of it’s Women’s Fellowship and Mission Board.
Mabel loved the Chicago Cubs and was a member of the Cubs Booster Club for many years.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Thursday, January 5, 2017 at Davison-Fulton Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service. The Rev. Johnny Creasong will officiate. Burial will follow at Parkview Cemetery in Peoria.
Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association.
