Marie Myers

Age 72 years. A resident of Peoria, IL formerly of Centralia, IL passed away Friday April 15, 2016 with her daughter by her side.

Born January 27, 1944 in East Prairie, MO daughter of the late Joe B. and Kathleen Couch Myers. Marie was of Christian Faith.

Survivors include: five children, Larry G. and wife Tara McGhee of Salem, IL, Tina Marie Mills of Edwards, IL, Raymond L. Antonaccio of Salem, IL, Annmarie L. Antonaccio of Centralia, IL, Matthew and wife Latisha Wilson, of Carlyle, IL. 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren all of Illinois. Four sisters, Joetta Blumenberg, Shirley Chance, Vickie Sanders, and Penny Houston and one brother Gary Myers all of Missouri. Also, many in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends.

Proceeded in death by her parents, two brothers, James Myers and Larry Myers, four sisters, baby Myers, Barbara Foster, Rita Myers and Betty (Duckie) Chapman and grandson Wyatt Dalton McGhee.

Marie attended Kaskaskia Community College, studying Cosmetology and became certified as a CNA. Marie was also an avid AA Sponsor for many years in Centralia, IL and retired as a Waitress. She lived life with a passion for helping others, never met a stranger, and was an extremely proud Grandmother!

Memorials, cards, and flowers can be received directly by her family planning the Celebration of Life taking place in her hometown, East Prairie, MO at a later date.
