

Mary Ann Penman, 79, of Peoria, IL passed away Thursday July 10, 2014 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center. Mary was born in St. Louis, MO on January 13, 1935 to Elmer and Gertrude (Krawiecki) Robinson. She married William Penman on September 18, 1955. He preceded her in death in November, 1995. She is survived by: Children; Glenn Penman of Peoria, IL and Julie (Don) Neckel of Peoria, IL, Sister; Alberta Sue Van Norman of Windsor, NC, Granddaughters; Jessica and Melissa Neckel of Peoria, IL, Lifelong friend; Jenny Casey of Marquette Heights, IL and several nieces and nephews. Mary is preceded in death by her Husband, Parents, Sister; Emily Ready, and brother; John Kargol. Mary worked for the Home Insurance Company for over 10 years. She loved to paint China Dishes and lamps, and was a member of the China Painters Guild. She enjoyed collecting Figurine Dolls, looking for unique antiques at garage sales and flea markets, and also planting flowers outside of her home. Funeral services for Mary will be held at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel on Tuesday July 15, 2014 at 11:00 AM. Pastor Karin Spaulding will officiate. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service. Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens.
