May F. Hess

  May F. Hess, 80, of Creve Coeur, passed away at 5:50 a.m., Thursday, January 31, 2013 at Proctor Hospital.   She was born December 17, 1932 in Indianapolis, IN to George and May F. (Wright) Ross.  She married Robert Hess on June 5, 1982 in Peoria.  He survives.   Also surviving is her son James “Arlen” Troeger Jr. of Creve Coeur; two grandchildren, Allen M. Troeger and Jamie N. Troeger both of Peoria; six great-grandchildren, Gavin, Katelyn, Cody, Rachel, Alana, June; three cousins, Phyllis Stephenson and family of South Carolina, Rebecca Steel of Silver Springs, FL, Jimmy Stonebreaker of Denver, CO; one niece Gail Hahn and two nephews Randy (Sherry) Hess and Bob Hess.   She was preceded in death by her parents.   May retired from Sheridan Bank in 1992 as a vault teller.  She also worked for First National Bank and Herb Lane Sheet Music at Byerly’s Music Store.   She was a member of The Order of United Commercial Traveler’s of America.   A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, Feb 4, 2013 at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel.  Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the chapel.  Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery.   Memorials may be made to The Kidney Foundation.   Online tributes and condolences may be made at www.davison-fulton.com.
