Nancy Lee Moredock

She was born November 10, 1943 in Cruger, MS to Nathaniel and Lizzie B. (Reedy) Randle Sr. She married Farrell L. Moredock on June 22, 1962 in Peoria. He preceded her in death on September 20, 2018. Also preceding her in death were her parents and seven siblings, Nathaniel Randle Jr., Ruth "Doll" Sargent, Pastor R.W. Randle, Jimmie "Bo Peep" Randle, Frank "Sonny" Randle, Liz "Tet" Lobdell, LA Randle; and a half brother, Robert L. Harris.

Surviving are her three children, Marvin (Stephanie) Moredock, Marcia Moredock McGhee, and Ryan Moredock, all of Peoria; two siblings, Charles (Maryann) Randle of East Peoria and Leola Randle Jefferson of Peoria. Also surviving are eight grandchildren, Ebony, Marvin Jr., Joshua, Morgan, Sasha, Ryan Jr., Glen, and Jordan; many great-grandchildren; her special childhood friend of over 60 years, Myra Thompson, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws.

Nancy began working at I.C.C and then at Caterpillar Inc., before open her own beauty salon, Nancy's Hair Boutique. After closing her shop she worked for District 150 as a Bus Monitor and Driver. Nancy was a member of Higher Dimensions Praise and Worship Church in Peoria. She enjoyed listening to Rhythm and Blues, as well as Gospel and sang in the Church Choir. She was a Mary Kay Representative and enjoyed cooking, bowling, traveling, but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

A funeral service will be at 10:30 am on Saturday, December 11, 2021 with visitation one hour prior to the service at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel. Pastor Harreld Webster Jr. will officiate. Burial will follow Parkview Cemetery in Peoria.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the compassionate hospice nurses, Janice, Robbie; CNA Tiffany; and her niece, Rose Sharon Norman Collins, for taking such great care of Nancy.
