Pravinchandra N. Dalal

Passed away on Friday, February 28, 2020 in the presence of his family, with lots of love around him with the precious help from Transitions Hospice.

He was born on 31st of October, 1929 as second son of Natverlal Dalal and Ramangauri Dalal. He spent most of his life in Mumbai, India where he was born. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Niranjana Dalal; his younger brother, Madhusudan Dalal, residing in Monroe township, NJ; His son Sanjay (Rita) Dalal of Kalamazoo, MI; and their daughter, Suchita (Devang) Divecha of Peoria, IL; four grandsons, Kunal ( Neha) Dalal of Wilmington, NC; Rahul Dalal (Young) of Boston, MA; Rohan Divecha of Peoria, IL; and Chirag Divecha of Peoria, IL; Two great grand-daughters, Maya and Remi Dalal, and several nephews, and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents; his older brother, Navinchandra Dalal and two sisters in law, Vinaben Navinchandra Dalal and Mitaben Madhusudan Dalal.

He spent his life in Mumbai as a stockbroker, and he will be remembered for his infectious smile, his concern for others, and love for all. He made several friends during his career, including his clients who eventually became his friends. He had humble beginnings from which he managed to put his children through advanced education. He valued the role of education in building character of his children and grandchildren, although he had not completed college himself as his passion was photography and arts. He enjoyed traveling and had traveled all around the world with his family; and used this as a form of educating his children as well. Whenever he visited USA, he endeared himself to the new but lasting friends he made in Kalamazoo, Michigan; Lafayette, Indiana; and Peoria, Illinois.

Memorial and prayer service followed by funeral will be on Sunday, March 1, 2020, 2:00pm, at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel, 2021 N. University St., Peoria, IL 61604, 309-688-5700
