Born November 14, 1936 in Peoria to Jesse and Alta (Betts) Hamilton; he married the former Marsha Willis on October 29, 1955 in Peoria.
Surviving are his wife, Marsha Hamilton of Peoria; children, Lisa Hamilton-Davidson of Peoria, Ronald Hamilton of Tennesse; Marcia Hamilton-Uphoff of Morton, IL; five grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
Preceding in death were his parents; son, David Hamilton; two sisters; and a brother.
Ronald was a US Air Force veteran.
He retired as an systems analyst from Caterpillar in 1994 after 25 years of service.
Cremation arrangements are under the care and direction of the Davison-Fulton Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home in Peoria.
