She was born on November 1, 1954 in Peoria to Ralph and Cora (Hansen) Fairchild.
Sally graduated from Woodruff High School in 1975 and worked in Production at Community Workshop & Training Center in Peoria for many years. She attended First Federated Church in Peoria and enjoyed camping with her parents and traveling to different countries. She also loved her dogs and all dogs. She enjoyed watching dog movies and the Westminster dog show. Sally had a great sense of humor. She had great compassion for others.
She is survived by her first cousins, Helen Shonk, George Hansen and Florence Hansen and second cousins Suzanne, Stephen and Claire Brittain.
A funeral service will be at 2 pm on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 with visitation one hour prior to the service at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Burial will follow the service at Parkview Cemetery in Peoria.
