Sally J. Smith

She was born Dec. 26, 1938 in Peoria to James and Edith (Williams) Clayton. She married William R. Smith Dec. 24, 1957 in Peoria. He passed away April 5, 1990 in Peoria. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Jean McGlothlin, one sister Nancy Cone, one brother, Jim Clayton, and two grandsons: Dennis McGlothlin, Billy Smith III.

Survivors include three daughters: Kathy (Frank) Lyons of Jackson Hole, Wyoming, Sally (Nick) Zosky of East Peoria, Patty (Tom) Michael of Peoria Heights, two sons: Bill (Wendy) Smith of Freeport, Jim Smith of Peoria Heights, twenty grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren, one brother, Jerry (Willie) Clayton of Peoria, one son-in-law, Kenny McGlothlin, one brother-in-law, Bob Cone, and two sisters-in-law, Nancy Clayton and Barb Ayers..

Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service will be Monday June 4, 2012 at 12 Noon at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Visitation will be two hours prior to the services on Monday.

Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens on Peoria at a later date.
