Shawn Lee Foote (48), of Peoria, Illinois passed away peacefully at home on Friday, November 10, 2023, surrounded by family. Shawn was born to Charles and Kay (Leucht) Foote on January 1, 1975, in Peoria, Illinois. He was the second baby born in Peoria on New Year’s 1975. Shawn was an avid sports fan and a longtime member of the Peoria area service industry community.
Shawn is survived by his children, Shawn Leigh Foote of San Diego, CA and Seth Foote of Pekin, IL. He is also survived by his loving mother, Kay, his brother Nick Foote (Josie) also of Peoria, and sister Noell Broussard (Channing) of Jacksonville, NC. He is survived by his niece and nephews, Morgan Arrington of Boone, NC; Paige Arrington of Charlotte, NC; Harlon and Felizar Foote of Peoria, and his first cousin Sheila Smith of Bartonville, IL, as well as many extended family members that loved him dearly. He is preceded in death by his father, Charles.
Shawn’s family will host a memorial service on Friday, November 17, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. The service will be held at Christ Lutheran Church in Peoria.
