He was born on August 22, 1991, in Peoria, to Kathy Kaonohi and Floyd Catton. He was engaged to Emily Green. She survives.
Also surviving are his parents Kathy and Floyd; his son, Meka David James Catton; his daughter, Amaranth Ophelia Nicole Lynne Kaonohi Catton; his siblings, Seiarra Delasso, David Catton, Zack Catton, and Jeremy Puckett; and several nieces and nephews.
Taylor worked in the restaurant industry for several years. He also worked side jobs in the construction field, a skill he was very proud of that he learned from his father and with a youth organization. He and his fiance had planned on opening a transport business.
Taylor was also an avid reader and enjoyed sharing his endless book of knowledge with others. He enjoyed playing videos games with his fiance and was very good at it. He loved his new puppy, Darko, and enjoyed spending time with him and teaching him tricks. Taylor loved to cook and share his creations with family and friends. He enjoyed writing and sharing his writings with his fiance.
Taylor loved his family with all of his heart. He would have done anything in his power to help when he could. He loved his children more than life itself and wished he could spend more time with them. On the outside, Taylor was a rough around the edges kind of guy, but on the inside, the kindest of hearts. He will be missed dearly by those who loved him.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A funeral service will be held at 5pm on Monday, May 13th, 2024, at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel, with a visitation to start two hours prior, at 3pm.
The family has requested that house plants be sent in lieu of flowers. Flowers will only fade, and house plants will continue to grow. They will be a constant reminded of Taylors love for them and their love for him.
Memorials can be made to 988-Suicide Prevention.
