He was born December 19, 1941 in Peoria to James Albert and Rose (Bowling) Conner. They preceded him in death along with one brother, Bill Conner.
Survivors include one son, Michael (Elise) Conner of Mackinaw, one daughter, Terri (Donnie) Woerner of Tremont, seven grandchildren: Brittany Thayer, Dylan (Chelsea) Conner, Dakota Conner, Cody (Krystle) Scogin, Lindsay Sweckard, Jake Sweckard, and Gage Sweckard. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren: Liam, Wesley, Rylee, Noah, Ava, Sloane, Grey and Harlan.
Terry was a United States Navy Veteran. Following his time in the military, he worked for Connor Co. in Peoria for 43 years retiring in 2007.
He was a member of several American Legions.
Graveside services with Military Honors will be Friday, March 29, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria. Davison-Fulton Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home in Peoria is in charge of arrangements.
